	It was a bare minimum, but they had their hearts in the right place. They were a couple that was unable to create their own children, so they adopted and fostered children. They had big hearts but small paychecks, and so it was a large burden on them. I suggested adopting less children, but they said it wasn't possible. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	When I asked they said it was because they loved children too much. I think it ruined them, taking on so much that they became worn down and couldn't live for themselves anymore. It was sad to me. I never wanted to depend on them, so I tried to be as little of a bother as possible. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

About a year after I ran away. I had gone to the police, I didn't trust anybody else. They had a lot of people come and talk to me, and after a few weeks I finally led them to the right place, but the only person I was looking for was gone. They ended up putting me with a few social workers, and because I said my parents were dead and I was an orphan, I pretended not to know my own last name. So I was put into a home for orphaned children, and they adopted me after a few months. I wanted to use my saved money from part-time jobs to change my name back, but I spent that coming out to find family.
