Why don't I get a wallet picture?

There were a few failures along the way, but now I'm at a place where I can say I'm happy again. Finally. It has been a long time. Maybe you will settle down and maybe you aren't meant to. Just as long as you are happy with it.

Long story, a lot of history that would take forever to explain and you probably either fall asleep or think I am crazy. But thank you. We may need to tag team if that happens, he has many family members at his disposal. Two against four... good odds.

Maybe I should go gay. I don't think I could ever put a... yeah, in my mouth though. I actually shuddered.

You haven't shown me a picture. Does he get to stay in your wallet?

It's not that bad, not very good either. Not something that I would prefer to do on a regular basis and I didn't throw up this time... ignore that.

I have one on my phone, not in my wallet. This is the new age Tobirama, keeping everything on cells. I have a photo of you on there. And people say that I am behind with the times.

Throw up? Go on.

It's good to be old-fashioned about some things. I like holding photos, feels more personal. When did you become so cold and digital?

It was not a pleasant experience the first time. Just fluids... gagging and well, she wasn't happy.

I am not cold. I am finally embracing technology. You can print them out and still hold them. You make me feel like I'm a terrible person when you say it like that.

... You couldn't do it either?

As someone surrounded by technology every day, maybe I have a new appreciation for the old-fashioned. And for trees. Fresh air. Wild streams in a forest.

With her, not at all. With him, it took a lot of self preparation and ignoring. And a lot of mouth wash.

Mmm. I miss that. Finding anything remotely like forest like in Reno is impossible. Even the getaway is still desert. Just a weekend away to remember. That would feel great.

I've never been able to... perform. In that sense. It's just so... eugh.

I miss the forest we used to go to. I miss trees in general. You know the big city lacks a whole lot of that. Sure there's a park but that's so artificial and forced, you know? With the fake fountains and water generators... I crave nature.

I thought that too but to do it again, I don't know if I could. I understand how you feel about it.

It really isn't the same. You can smell the difference. Its so stale. There is nothing better than waking up in the morning and smelling the fresh scent of the pine or hearing the water running in the stream so clearly without the traffic around to blur it out. I wish I could entice him enough to go out camping to somewhere like that but I know he would get bored.

So, when is your next vacation break from work?

If you did it once then they'll probably expect more. Unless you threw up again.

Tch, how can you be with someone who gets bored by the greatest thing on Earth? That's not like you. But it's more time for me to spend with you, huh?

Vacation... I've forgotten what that is. You'll have to tell me again.

I never really thought of that... this could be a problem.

It's a slow progression. He is one of those city dwellers that has been pampered all of his life so can't rush into these things. Baby steps. Work in progress. It does get disheartening when you can't enjoy it with someone.

It is when you come down and visit your big brother or I will have to come and kidnap you, and take you away for a weekend of relaxation. Too much stress isn't good for you.

Well you started it. Good luck with that.

The best thing to do with those kinds of people is to throw them into it. Sink or swim, right? If he sinks, just drive him back home. But if he's like most pampered city kids, it takes something drastic to reinstall that wild instinct.

Let's meet halfway, the midwest somewhere. It's pretty middle of nowhere, nobody will find us.

Throwing him into the deep end is something I don't know if he could recover from and the chance would be lost to get him out there again. Having a hotel in driving distance would be advisable... only that I see myself being left out there without transport back if he leaves in a not so happy state.

I'm all for that plan. It has to be a week though. No weekend only crap holidays. A full week just to remember what it was like.

Geez, how much of a concrete dweller is he? Sounds tempermental, too.

Right, a weekend isn't near long enough. And none of that pre-packaged food. That was what we were missing when we were young, a ways to live off the land.

Very much so. Stubborn too. And if he doesn't get his way, he does this little pout... It just doesn't go too well.

It's been a very long time. I can't even remember what is dangerous to eat and what isn't. Will have to take a refresher before going out anywhere. But to fish in the open streams again, the reward of cooking your own meal over a campfire. I wish I was there now.

You were always weak to sulking.

Ah, it's been years since I last went fishing. With the relaxation of being near a wild stream, listening to the water run by you... looking over your shoulder for bears. I want it now.

So you will be making some time soon then?

Or a sad anything.

Yeah, I'll be clearing time.

At least I can say that is part of my success as a manager for where I work. There are a lot of people who need a shoulder to cry on.

I will have a look for some good camping sites close by, see if there is anything that stands out.

My only experience with that is helping a few guys recover from hard drive crashes. That's surprisingly traumatic.

Far away from the city, miles and miles away. That's my request.

I don't understand how people can be so reliant on computers. I like being able to use one but it's not the end of the world if it dies. Yes, I realize how old that makes me sound.

That can be handled no problem. I'll research a bit before to make sure it's perfect.

It has its moments but it's not as bad as it sounds. It's just a typical job when you remove the sex part.
