The fight with the Hulk was over, but a bigger threat now loomed. Apocalypse had risen and once again threatened the world. He closed in on New York. It would be his capital in the world he would shape.

They had won... but at a cost. Sarah was bruised, battered, and more than a little broken, keeping her left arm together by securing it to the shield. Her ribs are taped up again, and she's flying so she doesn't need to put any weight on her legs - but she's moving, the Hulk isn't.

"Alright, the Talus tells me we're close... but folks... its insisting... we need to kill Caesar to leave. Apocalypse needs to be done here. Anyone who isn't ok with that... can bow out now."

Once upon a time, she would have balked. But as her father understood with the Nazis in wartime, some things have to be done - Exiles road has had that effect on her idealism.

"If that is needed for us to move on...then it must be done." Dane says, rolling his neck. He's a bit beaten up himself, but not nearly as badly as Sarah. He almost wants to suggest she let the rest of them handle this, but he knows she won't go for that.

If the roles were reversed, he'd want to see the mission through as well.

"Are we certain he /can/ be killed?" Dane asks.

Which sounds familiar. Sometimes, though, like with the vampire queen... there's just no choice.

She misses idealism sometimes.

	Dane moves assumes crowd-control duty, knowing that Sarah and Tasha are battered and doing everything they can just to help out right now. He'd rather not see either woman get hurt, so he's doing the knightly thing and watching their backs. He'll move into close-combat with any of Apocalypse's minions that are looking for a free attack on his teammates. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Dorrek swears in Skrullos, backing away from the flames as he tries to grow himself a layer of the Thing-like protection. He has to be smart about this, he has to be if he wants to have any chance of surviving.
