He's turning at the sound of her voice before his sensors have picked her back up, and once again almost loses his balance. Apparently one of her hits has damaged a gyro somewhere or the like.
Another foot comes up, and comes slamming down at her again as soon as he finds his balance.
"Damn you, hold still."
