She knows she's not hurting him, but her goal this time in getting in close is to dive just under his head - so she can use him for cover when she calls the lightning to try and hit around his eyes, hoping to blind him. Her finesse may not be good, but she's gotten the hang of calling a lightning strike down on her own location, when she has cover to survive it - she figures a dragon will do nicely.
