Starfox was chosen to approach the heroes, once the fleets discovered Thanos was nowhere to be seen or scanned. He has a way with people, after all, should the Exiles prove hostile.
He looks about, finally choosing Bucky to approach. He looks experienced, and vaguely familiar.
