Start It Up!
With a pop of displaced air, the Exiles appear in a new place.

Most of them immediately recognize the streets of New York city, even at night from the dark alley in which they have appeared: the Empire States Building and the World Trade Center's lights can be seen in the distance. Posters for bands and upcoming concerts plaster the walls. People pass by along the city streets.

"Okay, Sarah, what's the... hello?" Patriot's voice drops off as he notices that there's someone new with them.

Tom glances up very briefly at Quinn, trying very hard to keep himself from shouting. That it had taken them this long to notice was not something he was happy about, but now was not the time.

"Yeah, he does," he said, shortly. "Someone gave this poor bastard a serious workin' over. Someone with powers, too- by the looks of things, he's been used as target practice." As he speaks, he carefully manoeuvers his arms behind the old man's back and under his knees, before rising carefully into a standing position, the old man carried damsel-style in front of him.

"Anyone feel like helping me find a hospital?" he adds, pointedly.
