In a New York Minute....
They arrived in New York a few seconds after leaving Moscow thanks to Blink. Quinn could have done transporting duty, but there was nothing wrong with sharing the work. It actually felt good to be moving again. They had spent a few days in Moscow while Wanda cleared the way for her to leave for a short while.

While they were waiting Natasha had filled them in with more information about this world and how bad it was. As bad as it was, there were a few small spots of hope. Natasha, God she was hot and Quinn would have shagged her in a second if Patriot wasn't already doing that, had told them that someone connected to New York's Hellfire Club was helping and harboring mutants. The identity of the "Angel of New York" was unknown, but Quinn believed they could find him or her.

There was also mention of Project Bifrost that the Red Skull was working on. There were no details about it since Natasha hadn't been able to find much about it. She said she had nearly been killed trying to get what little information she did get. Magneto had under the advice of an adviser decided not to pursue that matter. Quinn would bet money it had something to do with Thor.

Thor. Quinn bet if Thor had come to this Earth like he had in Quinn's dimension and others from the sound of what his teammates said, maybe the world wouldn't be like this. Or at least as bad.

Quinn looked around. It was quite obvious that this wasn't the New York he knew and loved. "Well mates, what's on our agenda besides getting some cash and finding a place to crash?"

Joe's stood beside a number of the world's greatest super-heroes, alongside beings like Hyperion or Power Princess who might as well have been gods. But Captain America... Captain America, even in such a state, is nothing short of truly incredible. If men measure their standard by heroes, then heroes measure their standard by this man.

He keeps silent, letting Patriot handle things.

He would recognize the man before him anywhere, despite the age difference, despite having seen him die in front of his own eyes. Somehow, despite the horrible chill, Steve doesn't stay unsteady for long, shifting to take the hand on his shoulder in his own.

"Bucky, its good to see you. I'd love to know how you survived... but you're a lot older than the boy I remember, so some time has had to have passed. What's the situation, son?"

	Sarah keeps back, keeps her shield out of his sight as best she can. This aches horribly, and yet finding out he has a daughter, or some version of him does, just as they're about to leave is the last thing this Cap needs. So much as she'd really like to talk to the man who raised her to be everything she is, Sarah holds back as well and lets Patriot handle this. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He faced it once, briefly. He can deal with it again, somehow. He shakes the man's hand, a bit more firmly. "I'd ask more questions, but I get the feeling that won't help anything, and I get the feeling we both have a lot more to do. I'm hoping someone else here can catch me up?" 	"It has..." The introductions trail off, and the small group of Avengers, strangers though they may be, begin to talk. Somewhere in all this, there's mention of a 'Project Bifrost' that the Nazis have been working on for a long time. It catches the Captain's interest, and a plan begins, just as the Exiles begin to fade out of one world, and into the next... (Reply to this)(Parent)
