He's been delivered to Moscow to see what he can find... to see if he can get in touch with Wanda. He moves silently around the Kremlin.

He's broken into the Kremlin before. But a new universe means new security. He's going carefully.

It will take a particularly sharp eye to spot him.

	Instinct saved her as she dodged to the side, missing the stun blast. Whoever this was, they were good. She had almost noticed him a second too late. She fired back at him before taking cover behind a large column. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He feints for cover, then rolls closer. It's a gamble, but one that he believes will win out. He needs to keep this quiet. And he knows who this is. And she's better at range than he is. Close up? 	She heard him move closer and she let him come. With her back to the marble column, Natasha started to move up it. Her uniform allowed her to cling to walls and ceilings like a spider and she took advantage of it. When he reached her position he wouldn't find her there. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He's not thrown. He knows exactly where she's going. Bucky may not possess wall-climbing equipment, but he does have the athletic skill to scale a wall or column. He jumps up, pushing up and off a wall to do the same to the column, scaling it just as quickly as she does, getting there almost as quickly as she did. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Natasha heard him moving, but he did not appear below her. She listened carefully and eventually realized that he was on the other side of the column she was clinging to. Oh he was good. She would give him that and it made her wonder about the identity of the intruder. If anything the Widow was patient and waited to see what his next move would be. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Clinging to the side of the column, he pauses, listening, and realizes she's waiting for him to make a move. Far be it from me to let a lady down... Fingers digging into a ledge above him, he swings around the column at what might be an awkward angle if he were a less agile acrobat. He comes at her from an unexpected angle, hoping to knock her down with him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Movement in the corner of her eye caught her attention and she turned in time to see him coming at her. She fired a blast from her Widow's Bite before launching herself off of the column. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He twists in midair, so the blast merely wings him. Even still, it would knock most people out. Patriot grunts as he grasps at her, pulling her down with him.

"Tasha!" he whispers. He hopes to get her distracted enough that he can take her down quietly... because if he knows Natasha... and he does... then she won't let him explain anything until one or the other is captured.

	Her heart wanted to believe him and wanted to believe that a version of her beloved James still existed somewhere, but her head was telling it wasn't possible. He moves quickly, however, avoiding the blast. She's not listening... as he suspected.

All things being equal, this fight could last a long time. But he can read her... and she doesn't know him well enough to do the same.

He draws one of his stun blasters again, hoping to come up behind her and stun her directly to the side of her head. He wants to finish this quickly.

He moves quickly. He knows how to tie her up in such a way that she won't be able to escape easily -- he knows better than to assume she'll never be able to get out -- and that will hopefully give him enough time. He strips off the Widow's Bite from her wrist, but keeps it close.

When she wakes up, he's crouching near her, his gun at the ready.

"Ready to hear me out this time?" he asks. "If you are, once we're done, I'll let you go and give you back your Widow's Bite."

And he explains everything.

He tells her of how he came from another dimension, how he was recruited into this team of Exiles, and how he knows he needs to reach Wanda, who was once one of his closest friends and teammates before her death during the Sentinel Uprising.

When he's finally done, he tosses her the key for the cuffs.

"I know you can get out on your own, but that'll make it easy."
