Song Meme: Poker Face
The Exiles actually managed to get some downtime, meaning they had to sit still for a week, before they had their next mission. Sometimes they had to sit and wait until it was time to do whatever it was they were sent to.

Liv spent the time finding poker games and winning substantial amounts of money. They had to eat and pay for lodgings somehow. May as well put what her mother taught her to good use. It was morning and she was sitting at the small table in the room she shared with Sarah and Meggan counting last night's winnings.

You never know when we're going to end up on dead worlds, or in ruins, or hunted by sentinels. Enjoy the luxuries when you can. "Hard not to, probably. He drives himself so hard... and its kind of infectious. I guess its just a little surprising, since, well, the kids of met who share versions of your mother are kind of all over the spectrum. Depends on who the father is, if she settled down and retired, or stayed a spy, or how many kids she had. Definitely all individuals. Which I guess makes sense as something she'd bring in... kids who learn to do what they want and live their lives the way they want, instead of how anyone else tells them."
