Asgardian Gethsemene, Part 1.
When the Exiles materialize in their next location, they have a lot of new company in the middle of a rock-strewn, windy field. In the distance, there is a building with a slanted, thatched roof. It is the only building in the immediate vicinity, though those with sharp eyes may see various small structures even further in the distance.

"Yes, ma'am," Olivia said to Sarah. She was new to all this craziness and it was good she was with the most experienced person.

"Anyone we want to chat up before the council starts? How far does your X-knowledge go, boss?" Jubilee asks of Sarah.

"I'll let Jason and Dory split up the teams the rest of the way. My definite X-knowledge runs up to what seems to, in most worlds, be called the 'Secret War'. Up to that point, and for the X-Men involved, its extensive. Rogue, sort of, was my mother. Storm and Wolverine were the parents of my best friend... so I know a lot of them well. But since my parents and the rest never left Battleworld, I don't know anything definitive beyond that. I've worked with different iterations of the X-Men and New Mutants on other worlds in the five years of doing this Exiles Road thing... but its hard to say if any of those are typical or not.

As for the rest of the question - and a good one, yes. Talk to anyone you're extremely familiar with on your worlds. That will give you the best ideas of how different or similar they are here, and we can make educated guesses on others. Also, when Jason and Dory split you up - talk to the people on your own teams. We're very, very stuck with each other for a while, people. We can be yanked out of any world at any time. Old friends and family can quickly become enemies. No family, no friends, no lovers - nothing we can count on but each other. People can, and have died out here on Exiles Road, and more would have if it weren't for some good teammates. Get to know each other, because its all you have now, and it could be a long, long road home."
