Dory reabsorbs his wings but not his armored plates. It doesn't take that much more effort to maintain them, and he might need them soon.
"I hope those things can't track magic," he mutters to himself. Then he raises his voice to address the others. "Should I shift into something demonic looking and see what information and/or supplies I can scrounge up?"
