Hey guys, I'm Nicole or slightlymore if you're an inhabitant of livejournal-land. I see that things are a tiny bit slow around here at the moment but wanted to introduce myself anyway. Better late than never, right? Right? I hope so! Is this an adequate introduction? Lets see, I'm a Taurus...I'm a pretty long standing Gryffindor at HogwartsisHome, though I come and go and lurk a lot of the time and I have a bit of an obsession with very minor characters in the books. Anyway, I tend to do a little bit of rping with another of the members here on the side but I'm open to plotting and writing with others! Let me know if anyones up for it?

Oh, look, crazy Lena is back with her sixth and final character!

Meet Lydia! Lydia is a junior and she's in the AMP, though for now her betrothed is an NPC.

Lydia has been attending boarding schools her entire life. Her mother is/was a French witch who left her and her father when she was just a baby and Lydia really has no memory of her. Her father is a wizard who grew up in New England and raised Lydia all by his lonesome. Not that he was ever around. He's a pretty big businessman amongst the wizarding community of New York and he's really never had much time for her.

So, Lydia has a few Daddy issues. Namely, she's the sort who craves love and affection even though she's definitely not a hugger and that touchy feely crap kind of creeps her out a lot. She definitely enjoys attention from the opposite sex, though. If you have a male character, she's probably going to flirt with them. She doesn't want to get kicked out, though, so she'll do it behind a charm or closed doors. Or, you know, away from their other half's jealous eyes, anyway. ;)

Lydia is also a bit of a party girl. She knows how to keep it discreet so she doesn't get caught, but she definitely has a secret stash of booze. And pot. And ecstasy. She's happy to share with anyone who's willing to party with her and not tattle and she's even more willing to sneak into town with anyone else who's looking for a good time.

Um, basically? She's not a good girl at all, but she's learned to toe the line between being the bad girl and getting kicked out of school. She loves to dance. She also likes cooking and potions, because working with ingredients relaxes her. She's not fond of sweets, unless it's European chocolate. There's a whole lot more in her bio, so check it out and give us some plot!

Lydia isn't one for close friends, but I would love some good casual/friendly acquaintances for her!

With us re-opening and stuff, and having some shiny new players and characters, I thought it might be a good idea to re-introduce mine!

Dari Davsion | [info]coraffabile | Senior | Betrothed to Simon Bailey
Dari is sweet, perky, athletic, bookish, friendly. She's a real flirt, though most of the time she doesn't mean to flirt. She's the kind of girl who pretty much adores everyone, but she's genuinely close to very few people. Her best friends in the whole world are Jeremy Pitt and Ashleigh Barton, the latter of whom she shared a room with until they moved in with their respective betrotheds last year.

Ed Mcmillan | [info]kingofquod | Senior | Single/Not in the AMP
Ed is attractive and athletic. He's the captain of the school Quodpot team and the only person in the game right now who is NOT in the AMP. He kind of finds the concept of arranged marriages a little ridiculous. As such, he has NO problems at all with flirting with those girls who ARE in the program. If you have an attractive girl who was willing, chances are he's had her on his broom and/or tried to make out with her.

Garrett Pitt | [info]perfezione | Junior | Betrothed to Katherine Lawrence
Garrett is rich, he's powerful and he's better than you. So he thinks, anyway. He's the epitome of snobby asshole. He can be kind to those he deems worthy of his affections, but those people are few and far between and even his loved ones aren't always spared from his condescending tongue. Most people prefer the company of his older brother Jeremy. He had a penchant for seducing and then discarding innocent girls back home, but since arriving at Eligere and being promised to Katherine, he has been on his best behavior. He would not embarrass his family or his future wife by being caught being unfaithful.

Teddy Gibson | [info]amarshmallow | Junior | Betrothed to Bells Westland
Teddy is a moody little cynic much of the time, though there is a heart of gold somewhere beneath the surface. His cynical, outspoken nature shines through a majority of the time and he's definitely been known to rub people the wrong way, especially when he's printing less than flattering news about them in the school paper, but he does have a softer side - one that comes out when he's with his younger siblings or closer friends. One of his sisters would be a freshman at Eligere this year and I wouldn't at all hate having her played!

Jackson Wells | [info]jackwells | Senior | Betrothed to Ashleigh Barton
Jack is.. how can we put this delicately.. a little on the gay side. He's very much in denial about this fact and tries his best to be a guy's guy. He's trying very hard to toe the line with his father and keep up good enough grades to not get expelled while making a go of things with his future wife. The truth is, though, that he really feels no passion for her or for any girl and he's doing all this to try and make his father happy.

Hi, everybody! I'm Lena, one half of your awesome modly duo and I thought I'd kick things off by introducing my four kids. Is anyone who knows me remotely surprised I'm maxed out before we even open?

Dari Davison/[info]coraffabile - An upcoming senior at Eligere, Dari is the elder of two girls born to a socialite and a successful lawyer and she's one of those girls who appears to have it all. She's beautiful, she's smart, she's athletic. She's a sweet and friendly girl whom you might find it hard not to like. Beneath the surface, though, is a girl who is a little bit insecure, thanks to the constant criticisms of her parents and who doesn't really hold to the purist ideals her parents have always taught her. Dari's betrothed is an NPC at preasent and I would love to see him played. I would also love to see her younger sister Jayden in play, as she is the perfect purist daughter Dari isn't and would make a great foil for Dari in game.

Edward McMillan/[info]kingofquod - An upcoming senior at Eligere, Ed is my only kid who is not in the AMP, because his parents aren't really elitist at all and he is merely at Eligere because he wanted to attend the best school possible. Ed also happens to be a Halfblood, but shhhh. This is something no one at school knows about him, since he had to lie about his background to get into the academy. Ed's handsome, friendly and athletic with a reputation for charming the girls. He tends to favor the unattached for his casual flings, but he's not opposed to having a little fun with a girl who is technically promised to someone else, either.

Gabriella Richards/[info]bibliophile - An upcoming junior at Eligere, Bri is a quiet, studious girl who has her nose in a book 90% of the time. She's not exactly shy, she just prefers the company of books to people and she has a tendency to get wrapped up in her studies to the point of forgetting things like eating, sleeping and socializing. You'll find that she's perfectly friendly when approached, though, and once you get her talking, you might find it difficult to get her to stop. Her betrothed is also an NPC and I really have nothing in mind for him, but I would love to see him played. She also has two older sisters - Annabella (Bella) and Aubrianna (Brenna) - who are fairly open books and I would love to see either or both of them in play.

Garrett Pitt/[info]perfezione - An upcoming junior at Eligere, Garrett is a confident and driven young man with ambitions of entering politics once he has finished his education. He's the youngest son of one of the richest and most influential men in the world and despite being the youngest is considered by the family to be the true heir to the Pitt fortune. Garrett could undoubtedly find a match on his own, but chose to allow his father and grandfather to handpick his mate for him. He doesn't believe in love and is focused, instead, on carrying on the his legacy as the Pitt heir and making his parents and grandfather proud.
