"Uh, yeah," she replied because wasn't that just the most obvious thing in the world. Still, he was trying to be nice and it wasn't like she'd found anyone else to talk to at this thing. So long as someone didn't walk by with a plate of cookies she might be able to carry on a decent conversation with him.
