Nice thing about the YJ HQ was there was plenty of space, which meant she could repurposed the training room for this. Little different walls than the usual more rectangular areas they did this in, but circular rooms for this were not new. It just added a different sort of challenge.

With the holidays things had been slow with the training for YJ but the current training program certainly threw them into the thick of things once more Jerry though. They were supposed to protect a transport ship from waves of robots for as long as they could. Though to make things a little tougher they had to do all of that in white-out blizzard conditions. That was just plain mean Jerry though but then again they did agree to be there for this.

K'hym was at the Secret Sanctuary today, getting a few things set up in her room there (even though she lived in Denver, she still needed a place to stay over), as well as possibly putting in a little training time.

As it was, though, she was looking to see who else might be there today. True, she could have just searched the place with her Martian Vision, but where was the fun in that?

She was singing as she roamed the halls.

They were moving around a lot of stuff and setting up new stuff as Young Justice was making Justice Mountain more of their own place.

Jerry teleported a new couch into the rec room as they got it set up.

After the help that the kid had provided with the justice league it was decided that more training for the upcoming generation of heroes might be a good thing to help them be better prepared for the future. A few months after that Young Justice had set themselves up in Justice Mountain with regular training exercises to better prepare them for the challenges of being heroes.

Their latest exercise had been set up by Cerdian who had hidden several treasure chests in the waters of Rhode Island Sound nearby Happy Harbor to give them some more experience dealing with underwater environments. Cerdian had given them coordinates for the chests and nothing more the rest was up to them. He was on hand to help out if anything went wrong but otherwise was going to leave this to them to figure out and deal with.

Janie considered the options on the training module in the YJ HQ for a moment. "Any preference? They put a lot of options in this actually."

Easter was awesome. The service -- the family-and-co-religionists service, not the larger, ecumenical service the chaplain did for a wider audience for the holiday -- had included a reading of 'Being the Resurrection,' which often had the author's desired effect of whipping Team Morgenstern into a Let's Do Some Good frenzy. Delivering Easter baskets and games to the Children's hospital. Serving dinner at the local shelter and helping clean up. It was a busy day for the whole family.

Clara, later, stopped by where she hoped some of her new teammates might be.

Time for another secret meeting of the cousins braintrust. Its just a little different this time.

For one thing, Mikal is there early, instead of the typical five to ten minutes late. He needed to be early, he had some things to get ready. Her favorite soda was easy - different, because usually when he sneaks the drinks in, its either usually his dad's beer, or his favorites. This time, all hers. The cookies were harder. He burnt all three of his attempts, so he finally just broke down and bought three batches, once again, of her favorites.

Bruce threw a curve ball, he was quite fond of them, and decided to set up a Bat Family dinner. He did this once in awhile and Maria dreaded them like a root canal. Even though she never had a root canal. Most of the time they were normal dinners, but there had been a few that would always be remembered in the annals of the Bat Family history.

Just to torment the Squirt, Maria told Damian that dinner was in costume. Of course it wasn't, but she wanted to see if he'd fall for it.

Maria hummed happily as she made her way to the dining room.

The Justice League was having an open house for all their current, former and reservist heroes and their friends and families. It was a nice way to show what their member did on a regular basis and build up camaraderie and to give heroes who were members of the justice league something to strive for in the future. This was especially useful with the older generation of heroes starting to retire and the younger generation stepping up to take their place.

So, it kinda became the usual thing for Clark and Janie to fly together.  They had this meeting spot right on the border of New York that was a perfect starting place for the traditional 300 kilometer race.  Then it was just leisurely flying and talking.  Clark brought his backpack, which had some food his mom made.  He'd told her about Janie and that she was cool, so his mom always baked something for them to eat.  Hey, it was after school hours and Clark was always done with his homework early;  why not let the boy hang out with a super-powered girl in the sky?
