Below the suface
The night sky was clear. The stars twinkle in the sky and the moon glows on the water of the San Fransisco bay. But something is not right. There are no fish in the water. All of the local aquatic life has fled. Even the sea gulls have left staying far away from the water.

Further off in the water something wicked is already here. The bay and city are rocked with a massive earth quake. Suddenly cars crash and a boat going across the bay is turned over as a temple begins to break the surface of the water. Across the country the cult members wake up and start to make plans. Tonight is not the night but within the week they will take the city. They must. Their God calls to them.

He lies sleeping but they will wake him up.

	Something comes out of the shadows. Then takes one look at Cait. It gribbles something that no one could understand. Then it takes a swing at her with a fist followed up by trying to rip it's claws across her body. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	It rolls with the attack knocking into a wall. It bubbles at her in a tongue that causes a few people to drop what they are doing. Then the creature runs at her intending on tackling her to the ground. It wants her dead. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Cait kept the tentacles moving, trying to hit the thing with the sharp edges as much as possible. She also started to turn the water around it to ice. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Ty is doing everything he can to block the psychic emanations from reaching the rest of the world, but his link with Cait has built over time. He can't help but feel her at this extreme.

*Cait! You need to calm down, don't let your emotions get the best of you!* he reminds her, reaching out and trying to teleport her far away from the dark presence he feels near her.

	Cait yelled as she kept up the attack. She wanted this thing to hurt. How dare it come into her kingdom? "GET OUT OF MY CITY!" she yelled and lashed the thing. Another two tentacles formed making four total and all four attacked the creature. Then the creature was no longer there and she was on dry land. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

*Cait... don't. You need to calm down. Killing it won't do any good, there's a lot more of them. And every time you lose control, they'll find you more and more easily. You /need/ to find the other people with journals, nothing else matters.*

He wishes he could teleport her back to him and just hold her, make things alright. But no one else can do what he's doing, and her role is far more important still.

	She pulled at the snow on the ground and formed it into a sphere of water in front of her. She could hear Ty's voice and feel him through the link they shared, but the anger was closer and stronger. The anger made her stronger. It gave her the weapon she needed to hurt those who would hurt her. She looked around for something to unleash her anger upon. (Reply to this)(Parent)
