Giving Thanks

In America today is a day for being thankful for the things in people's lives. Today was a day to celebrate family, friends, prosperity and health with food, family and friends. It is a time to reflect on what is important us and to recognize the gratitude we hold for having those things in our lives.

"I'd have liked to be a fly on the wall for that interview. I met Tim Drake once, in Hong Kong. Decent guy, if a little...stand-offish." Robert says.

"Ever interview any other big-wigs in Star City? Like the Mayor or any of the Richie Rich types?" he asks.

"Tim's a great guy," Mia said. "I've known him for a long time."

She shook her head. "Tim Drake's as big-wig as I've gotten. Though I'm sure with my connections, they'd just love for me to interview one of the Queens. But I tend to stay away from the society pages. It was Tim's suggestion that I interview him, believe it or not."

"What more is there to know about Oliver Queen? He gives money to the poor, got married and adopted a kid or two. Not really newsworthy when you think about it." Robert says dismissively.

"He'd probably just tell you what old historic site his company is going to bulldoze to make an office complex and hit on you while doing so." Robert says.

No, Jane wouldn't believe anything they said. She had been finishing off some last minute things in the office when she heard the others going up stairs. It was nice to have a whale building for her personal use.

She even felt her heart flutter at the thought of seeing Robert again. It was strange to feel this way about someone.

But she brightens when she sees Mia and Robert. "Hi guys. Sorry I was running late. I was just filing some paperwork I need to bring to the cops early tomorrow."
