Giving Thanks

In America today is a day for being thankful for the things in people's lives. Today was a day to celebrate family, friends, prosperity and health with food, family and friends. It is a time to reflect on what is important us and to recognize the gratitude we hold for having those things in our lives.

Cyrus had wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving. Some of the crew ended up helping him out. There was a sense that Cyrus was not doing this for himself even though he had gotten pretty bossy over it.

But the food was not very traditional. They ended up with substitutes that he had found. It at least looked good to him. And he had a cranberry like juice to sip away at as he stared at the table of prepared food.

	Alerron joins Cyrus, unsure of his understanding of this Thanksgiving holiday. Mar'i tried to explain it to him, too, as her father is human and celebrates it, but Alerron is still confused. Shouldn't one be thankful every day instead of just one? "You sure got the grew talking, Cyrus. So, what other rituals do we observe on Thanksgiving?" he asks. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Normally we say what we've been thankful for in the past year. We eat. We watch some kind of sporting event." He shrugs as he grabs a warm roll to pick at it. He gives an embarrassed shrug.
