There will be blood
It was going to be a dark day in Star City.

Or at least, it was going to be a dark day for those that dared to tangle with the League of Assassins.

The plan was set in motion, and the League was on the move.

They each had their mission. Vesper had already done his part and freed Bane from where they had been holding him. The guards at the Super-Max were currently keeping their hands full with a full-prison riot. It had been discovered that Slade Wilson was no longer at the prison, having been broken out by a team of individuals sometime previous, though that was neither here nor there.

Getting a location for where Red Robin and his allies would be was difficult, but the Informant wasn't just your everyday run-of-the-mill hacker, she was one of the best.

And now, Morgaine, along with her brother's decoy and the rest of the League, were in a helicopter headed straight towards Outsider's headquarters.

"The plan is simple," Morgaine said, briefing her team for a final time before they began their attack. "While the Demon's Head has instructed us to kill anyone that stands in our way, we are merely providing a distraction while he rescues his Lady from her imprisonment. Do not hesitate do deliver a killing strike, but wiping out the entire team is not required of us at this time. We will keep them busy until the Demon's Head informs us that he has Lian, and then we will make our getaway.

Understood?"

A chorus of yeses arose from the team, and Morgaine nodded. "Excellent. We will be approaching the target shortly."

When the helicopter was in within range of the Outsiders headquarters, a rocket was fired at one of the windows. Not one to bring the entire place to the ground, but it would definitely set the alarms off, at the very least.

The team reached the drop off point, and the League of Assassins came in through the blown-out window. Morgaine pulled out both of her swords, a bloodthirsty grin crossing her face.

"Knock-knock."

"That doesn't matter much, now does it?"

He deflected and dodged the last of the bolts, and then walked slowly toward Max. There was more than enough time for him to reload. Was Henry overconfident, or stalling for time? The fact that somebody was left with those two choices was suspicious.

“All questions matter,” Max said as he finished reloading, “Even the stupid ones can tell us a lot.”

As soon as he finished reloading he raised the crossbow to fire again but noticed Henry hadn’t press his advantage at all which did not make sense at all.

"Oh really?" Henry replied. He started dodging and deflecting again.

“Like the fact that you are trying to draw this fight out as long as possible and I don’t think you’re the type that does something like that just for the fun of it,” Max says, “Clearly you have an agenda.”

Max stopped firing at him to see what he would do next though he was really to start up again in less than a heartbeat.

“I’m sure of it now,” Max said. This guy didn’t seem to be fighting him with his all for some reason.

"I'd love to hear what you think about this all, then."

Let's see how capable Max was with the minute information Henry had given him.

“You fight me but don’t press your advantages and haven’t really attacked me in spite of your explosive entrance here which means you are mostly likely trying to distract us from your real goals,” Max says, “And you don’t think we are fighting you to keep you away from Lian despite the league’s goal being to get her back.”

He then thinks for a moment before coming to a realization. “You are here to distract us from the real plan to get her back.”

"Somehow, I knew you'd say that," Henry commented while slowly clapping his free hand on the base of his other palm.

"Let's just keep this revelation our little secret, alright?" They were alone for the moment, and nobody was within earshot. The last thing he needed was for the League to figure out he'd helped the enemy. No, that would interfere with his plans far too much.

"So if you don't mind, I'm going to take you out now." That was a lie. Henry needed Max to win, and soon. He rushed at Max, ready to perform his greatest loss.

Max just glared at him through his mask at what he had said. Henry’s charge at him seemed foolish and out of character but he would think more about that later.

When Henry got closer Max tried to bring his crossbow down as hard as he could on his head and into his knee the he was bringing up as hard as he could to.

Henry could have avoided that, but he didn't. Instead, he adjusted himself to that Max did hit him, but he didn't get knocked out. He played as if he did, and he played his part well. Henry hit the ground, sword dropped, and the stress in his joints relieved to complete the act.

He was "knocked out". He didn't care if Max knew something was off. Instead, Henry trusted that the situation demanded Max leave as quickly as he could to help his teammates. The best thing he could do was go help Red Robin. If he tried to check to make sure Henry was out cold, Henry had an insurance policy hidden up his sleeve.

Henry looked out and he didn’t really have much time to check clearly but did pin him to the ground with crossbow bolts through his clothes to hold him there till he could get back. This entire fight would be something for him to look more into later.

He then headed out to see found someone he could tell about what he had found out and help people out. Tim preferable but someone with some power to them would not be opposed either.

When Max was gone, Henry opened his eyes and grinned. That was far too easy. And now that he was alone, he could free himself. His shirt was a weak fabric, a precaution to this sort of thing, and he just pulled it apart while getting up.

When his upper body was free, he pulled the bolts out from his lower body and left the area, sword in hand. He needed to check some things out.
