Grant my Last Request
Cerdian arrives at the safehouse and speaks to J'anna for a bit as they wait for Lian to arrive. He's nervous about seeing his best friend again after all this time, especially now that he knows his days in this world are coming to an end. He still needs to talk to J'anna, too, but he told her to go back to Tim for whatever time they had before things got too crazy.

Everyone deserved to spend their last moments with the person they loved most in all the world.

When Mia and Lian arrive, Cerdian is dozing lightly on J'anna's couch. He awakens immediately and smiles at both women, but his eyes immediately go to Lian.

"Hi." he says, smiling at her. "Long time no see."

	"You have no idea how much I wish I could, Lian, but I can't." he says sadly. He leans into her touch, trying make sure he remembers this moment for when his life flashes before his eyes. 	Lian locked eyes with Cerdian, just looking at him. What happened next was more of an impulse than anything else. She leaned forward, kissing him fully on the lips. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Cerdian wasn't expecting the kiss, but he took it for all it was worth, pulling Lian closer to him. This time, he would not cry or scream that he was going to die. In fact, right now, he felt more alive than he ever had. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Lian didn't know how long they kissed for, not keeping track of the minutes. Her head was spinning, and her heart was racing at a million miles a minute. No one else made her feel that...except Damien. When the kiss ended, she looked at Cerdian, silent for a few more moments. "I....I'm sorry," she said, "That was probably uncalled for." "So, do we watch another movie or do you go try to get some rest?" Cerdian asks. He's good with either one, but Lian is really his first experience with a pregnant lady, so he'll play it by ear.

"Remember that time when and J'anna convinced me that we could be rich if we just found Torquemada's stash of gold? I told you guys it was guarded by sharks and killer whales and you guys /convinced/ me that they had to stand aside and let me have it because I was...Aqualad." Cerdian grins.

Of course, the sharks had tried to eat him and it was only a timely intervention by his mother and father that kept him from being literal Sharkbait. Cait hadn't let him live that one down.
