Cookies, anyone?
Mary Lou Sunshine had always wanted grandchildren.

Unfortunately for her, her son would never leave the basement long enough to meet a nice girl and get married and lovely little babies for her to spoil.

Still, she wanted grandchildren. So she was going to get some grandchildren.

And who better to have as grandkids than those nice little boys and girls in the Justice League?

Grandma Sunshine walked right up to Young Justice League headquarters, a basket of goodies in hand. She rang the doorbell, a smile on her face.

	Michael flies into the headquarters, ready to start his time on monitor duty. He was one to enjoy free time, using it to work on his architectural sketches. So when he landed, he did not expect to see a stereotypical "Granny" standing at the entrance. "Who is this?" Michael asks, addressing his teammates rather than the woman. "...Not gonna ask about the seal-burgers." Or about abuelita here, since no one else seemed too worked up about her. Besides, Alina knows for a fact that people in El Paso have awarded their local Blue Beetle baked goods, occasionally by dint of forcing them into his hands and then disappearing back into the crowd before he can hand them back.

She snags a cookie out of the basket and smiles at the old lady. "Thank you very much, ma'am!"

Alina yawns so widely that her butterfly mask almost comes loose from her face, she steadies it as she makes a belated attempt to cover her mouth with her hand. "'scuse me. Late night reading's catching up with me." She stretches her arms over her head and then leans on the nearest teammate, smothering another yawn against their conveniently-located shoulder. Shouldn't she have gotten a sugar rush from the cookies before the sugar crash?
