Open to Outsiders

Calypso was back in her domain, the sub-basement of the Outsiders HQ. The Titans of Myth were defeated and she could take a break from the frustrations of the entire incident. After a period of rest, she ventured into the kitchen on the main floor and started making Hamburger Helper for lunch.

Calypso looked down at her food. "This didn't come powdered," she commented. She wasn't going to stop J'anna from leaving, either. She needed to watch her food so it didn't burn.

"Do you want any?" she offered to Joey.

It wasn't long before the food was done, and Calypso divided it onto two plates. She placed them on the table in the kitchen with a fork for each of them, and then she sat down. "I wonder if she in tense because Lian is gone," Calypso said.

That was one way to start a conversation. She didn't really know Joey, or J'anna, or the other Outsiders. Calypso felt like she was just around to babysit the headquarters on the slim chance that Lian ever came back.
