Two days after her recruitment mission, Angela Holt sits inside a warehouse bunker in Star City. She pores over the maps of the Super-Max prison intently as she waits for the others to arrive. The warehouse was decent for tonight's purposes, but they needed a much better, much more secure facility. Belle Reve was an option, but that was too close to St. Roch and Angela didn't want to take the chance of going there and reopening old wounds.

When everyone arrives, Angela looks up and nods to each of them in turn.

"Thank you for coming. If you're ready to get down to work, we can get started." she says.

Well, now that they're being shot at, Robert decides that not killing anyone is out of the question. He also ducks behind cover, the orients himself toward his attacks and looses an arrow.

"Ravager! I've got an idea, but you're going to have a limited window to pull it off." he yells.

Merlyn draws another arrow and fires into the floor in front of the group. It sticks up in the floor, and there's a bright flash followed by a loud boom in the space.

"And I thought trick arrows were a lame gimmick." Robert says, noting that the flash-bang arrow was worthy of its name.

	The guards are disoriented by the flash-bang arrow, a couple of them dropping their weapons and covering their ears. They all stop firing. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The woman's eyes widen as Rose holds the sword to her throat. "Put the guns down you idiots!" the woman commands. The guards obey, laying their weapons on the floor. "We want the prisoner in Block D, Bay 347 and Slade Wilson. Give us both of them and everyone here goes home to their families tonight.

Piss us off and the body count the police show up to is going to be legendary." Merlyn says, adjusting the vest of his black costume.

The woman's eyes widen as she looks at him.

"Slade Wilson /is/ the prisoner in D-Block 347, you idiot." she says.

	"Lady, we're breaking /into/ a federal prison to kidnap a /criminal/. Do we /look/ like people worried about the law?" Merlyn asks her. "We're taking Slade Wilson. You're going to tell us where his possessions are." Merlyn says. Then he walks into the cellblock and looks down on Slade. "Slade Wilson! You're coming with us. Now." he says. Slade looks up at the person talking to him and thinks, for a moment, that Oliver Queen has lost his damn mind. Breaking to Super-Max to come after him for shooting down Harper is stupid.

Then Slade realizes that if it /was/ Queen, there would be an arrow in his head already.

It takes him a moment to place the build of his rescuer, but by the Slade can barely believe it.

"Robbie..?"

He heads for the nearest set of stairs and makes his way up to their level, looking upon his apprentice with a gleam in his remaining eye.

"Good job, boy. You pull this off alone?" he asks, looking around.

And then Slade sees Rose.

"Hello, daughter." Slade says, offering her a small smile and waiting to see how Rose would react.

	"Dad," Rose said, in a tone that most people would reserve for telemarketers and Darkseid. If Checkmate hadn't promised her information on her mother, she'd tell her father and Robert to go screw themselves and leave them right there. "Instead of being angry at me, Ravager, look at the facts. One: when I want someone dead, they tend to get that way. I don't do it by halves. Two: I rarely get captured without taking people down. Cops didn't lose a man when they brought me in. Three: When have you known me to stay imprisoned without trying to escape under my own power?" Slade asks in succession.

"I didn't go after Roy Harper. In fact, I saved his ass; he'd be dead right now if not for me. That's what happened. Of course, you and your hero-buddies would love to pin this on me, along with the existence for cancer and the rest of the world's ills. I've never denied a killing that was my doing.

I didn't go after him and you need to help me clear my name." Slade says.

There was no way that he was lying. Or if he was, he was doing a pretty damn good job of it.

But Slade never missed. And he never stayed locked up for long.

Like I said, the only reason I'm even still here is because some is paying me very well."

Slade doesn't look very happy about that. It confirms his suspicions that Amanda Waller just conscripted his daughter into service.

And Robbie, too. Shit, she put Robbie in Star City where Oliver Queen and his bunch of brats could run into him. /That/ reunion would go over well. Shado was going to have a coronary.

"I want to talk to your employer, Ravager. I didn't want you on the Squad." he says, following along.
