Re: New York and the Count
In spite of his usual disdain for American decadence and Americans in general, Alphonse rather enjoyed New York City. There was something to be said, he would be forced to admit, for the unique way in which it blended so many different cultures.
His right hand reached inside his jacket for one of his knives.
"That depends," he said, his English accented, showing his Eastern-European roots, "on who wishes to know."
