Goodbyes
Cait returned to Titans Tower to make sure that someone would watch King Triton for her while she was gone. She didn't know how long she would be in Poseidonis so she wanted to make sure the cat was taken care of. There was also Ty. There was no way she would go anywhere without saying goodbye to him. She did make him a promise after all.

She knocked lightly on the door to his room.

	Cait closed her eyes for a moment to take in the moment. Things were going to get very difficult and she wanted to burn this moment into her memories. It would help get her through the trials she was about to face. "I know, my love. I am here for you as well. If you need me, don't hesitate to say something. I noticed... and its interesting. I wish I had more time to study those powers so I could work on perfecting a form of teleporting that doesn't bother you.

He also wishes they had more time right now, but its just easier talking as if the future is assured.

We both have our jobs to do. I'll be fine here, I'm sure. With all the heroes of Earth working on this, we're going to be fine.

You'll just have to finish Oceanus off quickly... I can hardly wait. he replies, smiling at the thought.

I'm really looking forward to some time off. We could both use it. Though really, I'm mostly looking forward to some time that's just you and me. Speaking of which, any thoughts on what we should do for Christmas this year? Aside from fighting a dragon, anyway?

	I've given it some thought. he admits. Rescuing the Princess is still the highlight, but I think... if she's willing to try it, I'd like to try spending it with my mother. Go back home, just for a few days, spend the holidays in Metropolis with you. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
