Goodbyes
Cait returned to Titans Tower to make sure that someone would watch King Triton for her while she was gone. She didn't know how long she would be in Poseidonis so she wanted to make sure the cat was taken care of. There was also Ty. There was no way she would go anywhere without saying goodbye to him. She did make him a promise after all.

She knocked lightly on the door to his room.

Ty is getting things set up to telepathically link the people going after the Titans so they'll know if anyone fails. He's also the backup plan, just in case, though he really hopes he can find an anchor if that happens.... though he hopes even more intently that that won't be necessary.
When the knock comes, he's sitting on his bed, telekinetically shifting the room, a little out of making things as relaxing as possible, a little bit just staying busy out of worry.

	Cait closed her eyes for a moment to take in the moment. Things were going to get very difficult and she wanted to burn this moment into her memories. I noticed... and its interesting. I wish I had more time to study those powers so I could work on perfecting a form of teleporting that doesn't bother you.

He also wishes they had more time right now, but its just easier talking as if the future is assured.

We both have our jobs to do. I'll be fine here, I'm sure. With all the heroes of Earth working on this, we're going to be fine.

You'll just have to finish Oceanus off quickly... I can hardly wait. he replies, smiling at the thought.

I'm really looking forward to some time off. We could both use it. Though really, I'm mostly looking forward to some time that's just you and me. Speaking of which, any thoughts on what we should do for Christmas this year? Aside from fighting a dragon, anyway?

	I've given it some thought. he admits. Rescuing the Princess is still the highlight, but I think... if she's willing to try it, I'd like to try spending it with my mother. Go back home, just for a few days, spend the holidays in Metropolis with you. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"He came and visited me. Said that things were going to be difficult but that I should stay strong. He seemed a little...off. Like, more serious than usual. And then he went on about how I planned our wedding when I was five...and that I should throw a flower in the ocean for him and..." her voice cracked. "I just got the feeling that something really bad's going to happen to him and I can't help him."

He was thoroughly convinced that if we went outside Poseidonis we were going to be eaten by sharks. As you can see, we weren't.
