Avia was virtually paralyzed. Seeing what had happened to Hope, seeing Darkseid in the "flesh." Avia has traveled bits of the universe with the Forever People, but these horrors, combined with the sheer oppressive nature that seemed as much a part of this world as the air had rendered her nearly senseless.
She sank to her knees.
