Aquaman's Outrageous Adventure (Open to Teen Titans, Cerdian, AJ)
They had to spend a few days in Poseidonis before coming back to Titans' Tower due to Cait's wounds, but eventually she was well enough to make the trip. The physicians wanted her to wait longer, but Arthur needed to get back here and Cait didn't want to leave him around Ty for any longer than necessary. To be honest, she was surprised San Francisco was still standing after Arthur had already been there for a few days.

Once they reached Metropolis they called the Tower and Cait asked Ty to come and get them. Cait was in bad enough shape with two healing stab wounds, she didn't want to add any additional misery by flying.

Cait smiled after they appeared in the Tower. Teleporting wasn't her favorite method of travel, but it was still better than flying. The important thing was that she was home. Nothing felt better than coming home.

"Hello?" she called out.

Ruth had been busy, but she heard Cait was coming back that day, so she tried to make sure to make it.

"Hi. Are you okay?"

Cait looked at Dinah. "I'll live. Just a little beat up. Atlantis is free though. I was hoping to tell Arthur. Which is why I asked if my parents were around."

Iris entered the Tower with Pippi and Arthur, her arms full with bags of Disneyland merchandise.

"Hi everyone!" She said, beaming. "We brought back presents!"

Pippi can be heard well before she reaches the door. "Make way, make way! Make way for his royal highness, make way for the King!"

She pretty much literally bounces in the door after Iris, tooting a Disney-themed spangly party horn. She's decked out in Disney themes, carrying more Disney swag in bags strung over the arm not holding the horn.

"Hey everyone! We brought you all presents! Oh, wait, Iris said that... uhm, make way for his royal highness, King Aqua-Triton-Man!"

Arthur entered after Pippi. He too had bags and bags of Disney merchandise along with a giant stuffed unicorn and a bag of cotton candy. A pair of Mickey Mouse ears sat on his head and he wore a King Triton t-shirt. There was a big smile on his face and it got bigger when he saw the rest of the Titans.

"Hello!" he grinned. "We had an OURAGEOUS time and brought presents back for everyone!"

Cait leaned into Ty as he helped her up to her room. Now that the adrenaline of dealing with Arthur was gone, the pain was greater and she needed to get off of her feet. Of course just being near Ty helped. She knew he would take care of her.

"You know, there's a joke in there about you wanting to get me into bed," she said.

He nods. "That's all I ask. I'm sure, looking back, we both would have liked things to go differently. I know you don't even want to be a hero. But like it or not, this keeps happening, and sooner or later, its going to come up again. And when it does, I want the opportunity to be there for you. I know you don't want to ask it of me, or feel like its burdening people... but I want you. All of you, including the part that's a reluctant heroine who will try and do the right thing when pressed, the part that doesn't want to trouble or burden anyone, and the part that's going to feel like she's supposed to be princess of Atlantis, even if she doesn't want it. I love you. All of you, including those parts."

Cait closed her eyes to hold back the tears. She took a deep breath and then opened them again to look at him. "I love you too. I never want to see you or the others caught up in Atlantis stuff. It's poison and eats at your soul."

Before Cait had just said that, but now she knew it was true. She could feel the darkness that had crept inside of her when she killed her cousin. It was something that would never go away and it would always be there.

Cait went quiet. When she spoke next her voice was very low. "I killed my cousin."

He snuggles in close to her, carefully using telekinesis to make sure when he does so that he doesn't shift or aggravate her wounds. He also radiates a subtle warmth, using it to try and help comfort and relax her.

"I'm so sorry, Cait. I... wish I could have been there. I might have been able to do something."
