	Well, this was... not good. First the metal birds, and now this. Traya bobbed on a current of air, briefly taken back by the sheer size of the creature. But she quickly gathered her wits and unleashed a blast of compressed air at it. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

AJ pokes his head out of the water and just stares at the creature. "Well, and here I thought I'd seen 'em all." AJ dives and swims towards the Leviathan. "Let's see what you're up too..." AJ uses his telepathy on the creature, attempting to make it leave, but to no avail. Damn, I can't command this thing. It's way to hungry and angry. Maybe I can calm it down. AJ swims in close, but the creature sees him and swipes at him with it's tail. AJ tries to dodge it, but he's launched out of the water and lands on top of the Leviathan's head. 	Kid Flash arrives on the scene, currently on a "bathroom break" from class. He runs out to sea and sees that AJ is currently handling the Leviathan, so he begins rescuing sailors who have fallen into the water. He'll try to find a lifeboat if he can and get people to it, running along the surface of the water as fast as possible to keep from falling in. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Time for some more creation. Seeing Jai running back and forth at superspeed, Michael began to create a plastic ramp, avoiding rubber (since its actually an organic molecule) and filling the sides with oxygen. After seeing AJ flying in the air, Firestorm turned his attention back to the Leviathan. A blast of light from Firestorms hands blasted the water, freezing the water around the base of the leviathan. The frozen water traps the Leviathan, but will not last long. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	AJ grabs onto the leviathan's scales to hang on. He pulls out his sword and stabs it into the monster's hide and hangs onto that. "Ahrg, just, calm down!" AJ yells as he's thrashed about. All he can do is use his telepathy to try and soothe the creature, but it proves very difficult as the other heroes provoke it. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Crapcrapcrapcrap! Jai continues trying to get the civilians clear, because this fight looks like it will be messy. In fact, he has no idea why there's a freaking Leviathan in New York. Another thing-from-the-depths fight. Alina hopes this isn't going to be a constant in her career. At least this one isn't quite as big. She's still trying to shake off the vertigo her flight spell gave her when she arrives on-site. She doesn't have the time, and neither do her new teammates or the sailors. Okay, get civilians to safety first. She just hopes she doesn't screw it up. "Tunnel!" A swirling tube of liquid and energy begins to form over the surface of the water. It swallows the nearest lifeboat, pulling it and it's passengers speedily off toward shore. Ladies and gentlemen, the world's flattest water-slide. Kid Flash is surprised by the water tunnel, but he's also grateful for the back-up. He doesn't know Kaotik, but she's definitely pulling her weight right now. He redoubles his efforts and gets the other sailors into water slide so that they can get to the shore. He can already feel a four alarm hunger coming on right now. 	Michael does the same, freezing the water in some places to both put a barrier between any rescues and the monster and to ensure that, if AJ doesn't calm the creature, he can sharpen them into frozen spines for the beast to impale itself on. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Alina's trying not to worry too much about what the side-effect of her spell could be. She hates it when she can't see it immediately, and she doesn't need the extra anxiety right now. She focuses on maintaining the tunnel, keeping an eye on the thing-from-the-depths. Hopefully, the fish buffet should appease it until all the civilians are out of the way. 	Traya was worried. They were hitting it with all they had and they weren't stopping it. Maybe... maybe she could stop it. But she'd have to be really careful. Or else she'd hurt AJ and maybe Dex too... She concentrated, pushing her aerokinesis to the max, pushing all the air away from the leviathan's head. It had to breathe, didn't it? Michael sees what just happened with amazement. the thing is gigantic, and its appetite even bigger. To see such a thing rip through that much fish and so little a time... When Traya begins to push her Aerokinesis, Michael takes a different approach.. Although the thing will haev trouble breathing, it could just dive down and away from the air pressure. So Michael turns much of the air in the immediate vicinity into nitrous oxide. Hopefully, any air this thing does suck in is not oxygen, but strong laughing gas. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Hey, watch it!" AJ yells up at Traya and Michael. He feels the wind sucking the air from his lungs, and any that isn't starts to make him feel weird. AJ sheathes his sword and jumps off the Leviathan's head, diving into the sea below. He looks up and sees the creatures soft underbelly. AJ shoots like a torpedo and slams his fist into the Leviathan's stomach, knocking the wind out of it. I hope this thing doesn't have gills. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

It certainly looks like it is, and anyone who's not visible at this point...well, she'll do a magical search once she can release the tunnel spell, but she's not sure she'd find anything. "...Okay, so what do we do with it now?" Alina asks, flying closer to her teammates. It's really going to suck if they have to carry this to the nearest S.T.A.R. Labs themselves. She catches a glimpse of something bright pink out of the corner of her eye and whips her head around to get a mouthful of her own hair. Hair that isn't the same color as it was when she flew out here. Okay, as side effects go, it's definitely annoying. But it definitely could have been worse for her first time out with the Young JLA.
