Nemean Lion
The Nemean Lion once terrorized the countryside outside of Nemea devouring anyone that close to his lair. His golden fur was impervious to attack and its claws were sharper than mortal swords and could cut through any armor. It was slain by Hercules on his first labor.

The citizens of San Jose California were going about their daily lives not aware of the danger that awaited them. The Nemean Lion, a creature of myth and ferocity, ran through the streets of downtown San Jose. He roared and swiped at anyone who came close to him.

"No, but I do have a gorilla," Steve commented. What was the greater beast? The lion or the silverback? Steve sent a full-grown silverback gorilla creation at the lion for the fight.

Steve's gorilla took some heat, and Steve winced each time the gorilla got hit. But he kept in there and sent some back, although they weren't doing anything effective. "I think it would be best to strangle it," he commented.

He'd help try to stop Pippi, but his attention wasn't really on her.

The lion had, just before Pippi arrived, tossed the gorilla away. It seemed that the rage they had caused the Nemean Lion was not something they could easily stop, and yet there was Pippi. The lion stopped dead in it's tracks and, to much needed surprise, started to purr.

Steve had almost sent the gorilla to strike at the lion again, but...

"What did she do?" Steve let his gorilla dissipate as he watched Pippi, who had just tamed the Nemean Lion.

"If you're a nice kitty, maybe Auntie Iris will get you some milk, wouldn't that be nice?
