It was the last Friday before school started.
Cindy had everything ready. This was a Dad Place, and Dad wasn't home. She'd made the sandwiches. She had that other stuff.

She was on top of things this time. She wasn't going to be nervous.

Rex was going to kill her. She knew this. However, she also didn't care that much about Rex being pissed. He'd deal. He usually did. What she did care about was that she was now standing in front of Cindy's place, aka Big Bad House of Lord. Her wings twitched a little. This was entirely weird, really. In a "huh, this is unexpected" sort of way. But it was okay. Cindy was there. She could do this.

She made her way to the door and then rang the bell. Provided she hadn't already been announced first.

Oh, the only help at this place was decidedly having the afternoon off. Nothing was interrupting their time together. So Cindy got the door herself.

"Hi. Come on in. Lunch is all ready." And she'll escort her right in to the den, where there's a big comfy couch, a television nearly the size of the wall, and a coffee table. On the coffee table are too coastered glasses of lemonade and two sandwiches.
