Rex laughs at the speed in which Hope shows up, but he still smiles at his best friend. Between Nic's new girlfriend (would he ever be okay with that?) and Aleea's departure, Rex could use the distraction Hope provides.
"Goddess, you're the only person I know who gets excited about drinking more than I do. It must be because you can't get drunk." Rex jokes.
