"Christian," Percy whispered under his breath. He'd been following the trail of his grandfather's captor for quite some time, and it had been difficult. There were only whispers of rumors to be found in Gotham, but still Percy looked. Felix Faust was no hero, but he was family. And above all else, Christian mocked the name Faust. That hit home, and it made Percy seriously displeased.

He walked down the sidewalk in standard dress clothes, with his hands hidden in his pockets.

	Victoria had simply been returning to her apartment, walking down the street, when something gave her pause. A little tingle in her mystical senses, her connection the realm of the supernatural. Percy, too, noticed something strange. But with his thoughts so focused on something else, he shrugged off the feeling. He looked forward and saw a woman had been walking the opposite direction he was, but she paused. She looked to be around his age, and was fairly pretty. But she made him feel nervous--all new people made him feel that way.

His shoulders twitched and he looked away from her while he walked in her direction. He hoped she wouldn't really notice him.

	Something was definitely up. Her day job as an elementary school teacher certainly made her apt at reading people, and there was more to the young man who had attracted her attention than met the eye. He noticed her following him. Percy looked back once to see her, and then forward again. She didn't seem like the type to be a robber, but he was a little on edge. "M-may I help y-you?" he inquired weakly while refusing to look back at her. He didn't stop walking, either.

For some reason, Percy couldn't help but stop. That voice was so strict and demanding, like she was his instructor. It reminded him of the lessons his father gave him. He Must Always Listen To The Instructor.

"I-I don't know what y-you're talking about." He stood with his back still to her and refused to turn around. She was magical too, and that made him more nervous than before. "I'm j-just a business man."

"P-Perseus." Faust. If she knew about the magical community, she certainly knew about the legacy of the Faust family. That was not something he wanted or needed to get into with a stranger.

"I have been s-searching for somebody," he replied. If she wanted to know, it was definitely something she would have to drag out of him. Percy was gullible, not trusting.

Percy gulped, hard. That woman was a tad bit frightening already. If she wasn't being somewhat cross now, then he really Did Not want to make her cross. "If he is h-here, t-then trouble is already in y-your city. He g-goes by Christian F-Faust."

For the moment, Percy had no physical reaction. After he had time to process her assertion, Percy spoke up. This time, he lost his stutter and weakness of his voice. "I'm sorry, but this is not your problem to deal with."
