He felt sober suddenly. He hadn't even been drinking really. But these kids needed him as much as he sort of needed them to start feeling sane and connected to the world.
When the hell had that happened?
"Well. I don't have much in the way of family." There is a long awkward silence from him. He never admitted that to people. "I like to think by looking out for the team as a whole it's....
