Mark Your Calendars
The Time Bubble appeared on a Gotham City rooftop with minimal fanfare, drawing as little attention to itself as possible. It was many years before the current generation of heroes would be born, many years before many of their parents would even meet. It was an era were Gotham was blessed by three guardians, a Batman, a Robin, and a Batgirl. It was a happier time and an era where the evil did not seem quite so terrible.

"The Calendar Man?" Dinah asked Riley. "Really? We're here to stop the Calendar Man?"

	"Well, let's kick his ass." Dinah kicked the vent out and dropped below, scalloped cape flaring out behind her. "All right, Calendar Man!" she shouted, pointed with one hand and drawing a batarang with another (note to self: build Beetlerangs when she gets back). "Your days are numbered!" 	Coughing under the smoke pellet, the Calendar Man stumbled backwards, when he was knocked over by the batarang... right into the Mayan calendar. There was a sinister crackle of power. "Yes! Yes! It's power is mine!" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Generally, when whatever the adventure's mcguffin in question is has been grabbed by the bad guy, but hasn't been absorbed into their body, crumbled to dust, or translocated elsewhere, it's still anybody's game. That said, tug-of-war over it isn't exactly safe.

But Riley's not worried.

He's got the goddamned Batgirl backing him up.

	"Hey! Let go of that!" the Calendar Man snarled. "You do not know its true power! Only I understand the secrets it unlocks!" There was a poof-sound, and a half dozen giant rabbits appeared in the room. Rabbits with razor-sharp teeth. "Only I can harness the power of the calendar and unleash the Holiday Horrors!" Riley's jaw falls open, but then he starts thinking really hard at the calendar.

This whole wing was going to end up destroyed in the crossfire of a Mr Freeze fight the following week anyway, so...

"April... SHOWERS!" He yells as he twists sharply, pointing the calendar at the hares as a torrent of water shoots out of it, smacking into the beasts. Much of the room is getting flooded in the process.

	The killer Easter bunnies vanished as the Calendar Man recalled them after the torrential water wave. He yanked the calendar back toward himself. "SHARK WEEK!" Fins could now be seen cutting their way through the water. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	WHOOMP! The television lands hard on the Calendar Man, knocking him to the floor and making the sharks disappear. He managed to reach up just enough to touch the calendar again. "Cinco de Mayo!" Look out for the giant pinata, Riley. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	This time, at least, Dinah's on the ball. She works up enough momentum to swing, driving both feet into the pinata, breaking through it and showering everyone with candy. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	With Dinah pulling off the interception, Riley manages to pull back enough to keep the calendar away from the villain. The effects fade as he wraps it up inside his costume's cape. "... worse or not as bad as the time with the bees?" He looks at 'Batgirl'. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The bad guy now out cold from a combination of candy (that had been a very large chocolate bar) and TV, Dinah gave her attention to "Robin."

"Not as bad," she decided. After all, Calendar Man hadn't tried to claim she was Riley's girlfriend. Which she was most certainly not. At all.

"But I think we better be getting back. This time period's starting to feel a little... dated."
