Meeting the Natives
It wasn't something Dex would have thought on his own, but Maura had insisted on him meeting the Young Justice League. He had learned about the League through other green lanterns when he was on Oa and heard many stories about their bravery and actions. He had hoped to get assigned to Earth and be able to fight along side of them.

He changed into his uniform and headed over there.

He was undaunted as he approached their headquarters.

	She did her best not to squeeze too hard. "Ah. I haven't met her yet either." She thinks about it carefully and notes she had not been aware of any of the Green Lanterns. She quirks a small smile. While she is not overly chatty she can still do introductions. "Follow me then Dex. I am uncertain of who we will find up and about this time of day. I do not keep myself fully appraised of everyone's movements. It does not seem polite to pry. Some of them may not even be here today. It is summer and part of their customs revolve around going to the beaches this time of year."

She is talking enough for both of them.

	Strangely enough, today was one of the days when Arthur was not scouring the oceans. He had come come to the HQ for some R&R, and while walking down the hall he spots Corrina leading someone. 	And just as she finished with cleaning the damn dirty stove (she was going to skin Dex for the mess) she realized something: she had let Dex go attempt to socialize alone. Dex. 	Jai had been busy with some summer school homework, but he was glad the term was nearly over. He'd be further ahead than his classmates for next year, and on track to graduate early.
