Alex tries to avoid looking at Riley but eventually he does. A determined expression crosses his face a moment before Alex takes a deep breath.
"What I'm trying to say is that I've fallen for you. Hard," he says, trying to figure out how Riley's feeling.
"And...I've got some bad news."
