"Tell me about it," she groaned. "Apparently he gets to decide what threats to the planet I'm allowed to fight." She rolled her eyes.
She shook her head, but smirked a bit too. "Maybe later. Zeta-Beamer won't have enough juice for a couple more hours."
"Well... I've supposedly got an apartment waiting for me, but honestly? It sounds kind of lonely. Not to mention I'm... more than a little out of date on Earth stuff."
