An Interesting Customer Today
Scott was sitting at his work bench, incredibly BORED. No work today, nothing cool since last night.  The half-finished Beetle Baton sat there, taunting him, but he'd rather not mess with it til Dinah came over again.

"Arg! A supervillain, a mugging, a television to repair! My kingdom for a broken Swiss timepiece!" Scott yelled to the ceiling and moaned. He couldn't do Facebook, since Scooter was already addicted to FarmVille, and there was nothing good on TV at 2 in the afternoon. So he sat and waited and tinkered with a small silver box like device with a lightning bolt design of copper wires on it.

"It's pretty cool," Wendi admitted. "Kind of like being on a roller coaster. Big rush, only you can tell what's going on around you. Kinda different for me, though, since my speed's not on all the time.

"Oh, and I can fly too, when I'm doing the speed thing."

"Oh really?" Scott thinks to himself. Going flying with someone could be fun. Well, someone beyond fellow Lantern-brood, at least. Scott smiles. "I love flying. Sure, I'll never hit the speeds my family could, but I love it. Helps clear the mind."

"It's nice," she admitted. "But I don't get to do it for fun all that often. Way my powers work, I have to be pretty responsible about using them."

"What a shame..." Scott thought to himself. Must find my spare flight suit. The old prototype flight system. Take her flying around. "Well... how about Scooter and I give you a ride back to the Brownstone? Or to your place? Scooter is a hoverboard, after all."
