Wendi had stayed longer than she'd intended, but didn't really mind. Though she was certain she was going to be paying for all that pizza later.
Scott, however, had insisted on walking her back to the train station. She didn't need the escort, but also had no real reason to refuse.
"Thanks again for lunch," she said.
