Cuddling and Leftovers - Both Great, Even Late
Sometimes, it's the little things that make life just awesome. Familiar comforts like trashy movies, a fresh mani-pedi, a fluffy pink bathrobe, and a couch to sprawl out on. Of course, the fact that she's expecting her sort-of-boyfriend to show up with baked goods soon doesn't hurt either.

He's got an EZ-Bake oven. This guy is too cute to be real sometimes.

"I mostly use the EZ Bake for emergency snack purposes," Dinadan says, unloading his baking supplies. "If I've got a reason to do some real baking and access to a real oven, I prefer to go that route instead." Ha, eggs are unshattered! Hooray for padding and solid plastic boxes!

He blushes a bit and occupies himself with arranging everything just so on the kitchen counter. "I-I figured. Uh, apology accepted."

	Petra comes up behind him, slipping her arms over his shoulders and nuzzling his hair. It's just a nice gentle hug. "You're a good guy, anyone ever tell you that?" A pause, and a light laugh. "And I don't mean good guy as in good guys and bad guys. You probably know that already. I mean you're a good guy to find." A kiss is placed on top of his head. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Petra's a little surprised at him taking the initiative, but very pleased with it. She returns the kiss, stroking her fingertips down his chest gently.

"Well you're welcome then, cutie." She smiles happily.

"So, what kinda cupcakes you making? If you've got a good red velvet recipe you just earned yourself a backrub that'll pop the tension spots like bubble wrap."

	"Mmm. Guess I'll still give you the backrub. But that better be some awesome chocolate cake." Petra smirks. "I suppose if you're going to start baking that means I have to let you go," she states. 	"This recipe has enormous chocolate chunks in it, resulting in pockets of gooey chocolate-y goodness within every cupcake," Dinadan reassures her, a little smugly. "It is awesome." What, he's worked hard on this recipe! "Well yeah," he says after she doesn't actually let him go. "Eventually. I wouldn't want to elbow you in the stomach or anything." 	Petra laughs at how specific he goes on about it. "Well then, I guess you'll definitely be getting that backrub. I'm gonna go change so I don't get anything on my robe." Oh she'll do her best/worst.

She returns a few minutes later, wearing... well, there's an apron visible. There could totally be clothes under there. Small clothes, but clothes nonetheless. Not that Din could tell from the angle she's approaching at, but still. If he assumes she's naked, it's obviously his fault.

"So, you need any help?" She speaks up, grinning, to get his attention.

	"Do you have a turkey baster? I forgot to grab mine, and..." Dinadan trails off, cocking his head and blinking as he attempts to figure out if she's wearing anything other than the apron. Then he realizes what he's trying to figure out and starts blushing. "...A-and it's, uh, easier to, um, clean up the pan after if there aren't, um, dribbles baked on." Dinadan's not sure if he's more embarrassed, relieved, or disappointed (what? He is a teenage boy). And he just knows that she's laughing at him on the inside.

"Well, I did a lot of the prep work back home," he says, trying to will his blush to fade. "And I didn't get any egg shell in it, so I didn't have to spend time fishing pieces out. Do you have a serving spoon or something?"

Yes, talk about the cupcakes! Yes!
