Mongul channeled the energy of the yellow rings through him, enhancing his durability as the Green Lantern charged him. This Lantern, like so many among the foolish, thought they could best Mongul.
"I've waited years to add a Green Ring to my collection, Lantern. And you've been so kind as to bring me three. I think I will let you live long enough to make your father come hunting me. When he does, I will kill you in front of him, and then I will take his ring as well." Mongul offers.
"Natand'r, bring me the Kryptonian's head and you will lead our next offensive! Bring me both your cousin's and the Kryptonian's and you will be Supreme Commander of New Tameran's armies!" Mongul yells, sending a yellow blast at Henry.
