Watch Repairs (open)
The cars drive by outside, the birds chirp, and inside twenty-four separate clocks tick in perfect unison. A small get away lair for Professor IQ back in the day, taken over by Clock King afterwards, and now in the possession of one "Scott Bartholomew West" or, as his real name was, Scott Bartholomew Rayner-West or Knight-Rayner-West, depending on the side of the family, and forever known as Highball to his grandmother.

Calling him Scott would be much easier. And in this era, money is everything. So Scott is ready not only for alerts from Scooter (downstairs in the lab, watching The Shawshank Redemption), but also for customers with broken time pieces.

Just another day at Western Time Watch Repairs.

"Dude. It's cool. I traveled back in time to be a hero. But for the more important business. Why do you sound like RoboCop? Seriously, you don't sound serious, you sound less organic than Scooter."

"I'm afraid I don't know how to take that, sir."

"Also, Blue Beetle was another inspiration to me. He's the one who made me realize I could invent to get to being a hero. My stun blasts are based off the idea of the BB Gun."

Scott grins. "Well then... let's see... there are... a couple Flashes, two Wildcats, a few thousand Lanterns in every color of the rainbow... who says you can't have another hero wearing gold? Are you going to go after the Metal Man too? Because he added into my love of the color almost as much as your dad." Scott looks to Scooter and feigns a look of begging concern. "And what about my best friend Scooter? You say he can't help too?"

"Well that seems a little mean. Gold is a good friend of my father! Or... he will be... don't you have a friend of the family you consider an uncle or aunt? Well for me, that's the Metal Men! And the fact that you just insulted not only my character but also the character and popularity of my Uncle Goldy has hurt me, on such a level, that I'm afraid I must ask you to leave my store! "Indeed, sir. I agree that only those of a mechanical persuasion can truly be considered true sidekicks." Scott grins at Scooter.

"No, I meant that he's a pretty pretty man." Scott just grinned wider. He was enjoying making Goldstar squirm a little, but all in good fun.

"Look, you really want proof I'm hero material? How can I prove it?"

Scott looks to Henry. "Thanks for both the support and the suggestion, Henry. Scooter, protocol NMW-O 231, please."

"Sir, it scares me, to this very day, that in the preprogrammed protocols, you not only made three sets of nude wrestling protocols, but also subsets for the variations. And it wasn't until now that I realized you were just thinking ahead."

Scott looks at Scooter. "So for the last four years, you've doubted me for the NMW, NHW and NFW protocols? Really?"

Scooter bobs. "Sir, just please, just once, grab the oil yourself. And don't make me watch."

Scott scratches his chin. "I don't know... you do have a recording feature for a reason..."

"That's dirty pool, sir."

Scott ignores the robot and looks at Jerry. "Hey, I'm Scott, aka Gold Sentinel, and the man who will fix your cuckoo clock, no need to worry about it."

Scott looks to Dinah. "Mine do. Made talking to a robot a lot easier."

He then looks at Riley. "Look. You and me go into my lab. Just us and our drones. And I'll tell you. No one else hears us. Unless having Henry there would make you feel safer. He can come along." Scott looks back to Dinah.

"No offense. But I'd like this to be Gold to Gold, if that's okay with you."
