Can't Go Back by Primal Scream
Keith had heard that marissa was in town, and he was glad to hear that. He hadn't seen her in awhile, although they did keep up with each other with texts and phone calls. Speaking of, Keith dialed her number and waited for her to pick up the phone. He wanted to see her later.

Tim was kicking her ass. Not that she would admit that to him or anyone, but he was and Marissa was taking full advantage of the fact that he seemed done kicking her ass for the time being to lie face down on the bed in her hotel room and pray for death or sleep or a large bottle of vicodin to magically appear. Instead, the phone rang and she didn't even bother checking the caller ID.

"Talk."

Marissa ended the call. It didn't take her long to figure out where Keith's house was nor did it take long for her to arrange to have a car--a false ID at the rental place kept the fuss to a minimum and while it took a small bit over ten minutes, it didn't take long for Marissa to show up at Keith's house.

"So this," she said getting out of the car, "is how scions do it. The dating thing, I mean."

	Keith drove up to the beach in a red '60 T-Bird with Marissa in the passenger seat. "Shall we?" he asked her after parking. A swimsuit was not a problem getting, since they had a surf shop on the beach. He wasn't very shy about spending money on things. And the best part was, Marissa didn't have to pay. 	Him kissing her. This was nice and Marissa draped her arm about his shoulders and kissed him back. He smelled like her Coppertone and the seawater and it was nice. "Good. I'd hate to have to waste my energy on the. I think I'm going to need all of it later." She smirked. "What's next, handsome? I see the stage is pretty much done at this point."
