Crash Landing! (open)
It's raining in San Francisco this pleasant afternoon. And while there are not many people out, there's more than enough to point up and stare as clouds suddenly part. A swirling vortex of green light appears in the sky and just ripples there for a few moments. And then suddenly...

BOOM

There's an explosion from the vortex and something gets sent rocketing into the air from it. The vortex snaps shut with another BOOM as some rather large chunk of flaming metal flies into the city and smashes into the street. About two blocks of pavement and several cars are damaged before the mass of metal stops in the street.

This could be bad...

"Don't worry about that yet. Take it a day at a time. Get some rest, take it easy, go for dinner with someone today. Meet Cerdian and get a bit of history lesson tomorrow, or over dinner. Let the long time deal with itself. Start with the Titans here... if you're still around in a few days, I'll introduce you to the family, then the YJLA. If you're back home by then, cool. I'll be glad to know I have family fighting the good fight somewhere else."

I'll hold off until you're a little more comfortable here... "Yeah... do you have Amazo where you're from? Ty usually doesn't go on a lot of missions, but he's saved people's hides a couple times during the big weirdnesses... as long as Cait is around to keep him stable. Otherwise, he mostly kind of sticks to her. Most of the other Titans are probably more recognizable. Hawk and Dove, Iris West, Dinah, Lian, Cerdian... mostly second generation heroes, or legacy kids."

"Ok, well, here, Amazo's creator tried to meld the Amazo cells into a human... Ty's dad. It took the whole league to stop Kid Amazo. He died, Ty kind of disappeared in the shuffle, no one knew he had a kid... til recently. He's a nice guy, just... shy, and really... well, unsure about his powers, for a reason. He's pretty clingy with Cait, but she keeps him together. And Hawk and Dove here... well, I think they go by Jayhawk and Mourning Dove... are a teenage couple. And yeah, Iris, aka Impulse, and Jai both have the speed powers here. You'll meet her soon, no doubt."

Tim leans against nothingness and nods. "Poor guy..." he trails off. "'Least he's got someone to keep him together," he says, making a mental note to be nicer to Ty next time he sees him. "Jayhawk and Mourning Dove? That's odd," he shrugs. "Huh. Glad things worked out better for those two here than where I'm from," he says. There's a long pause before Tim smirks a little. "So, you got anyone keeping you together? Can't be that hard for a SuperStud to get someone," he half teases, actually curious about how life is going for Jon.

He chuckles. "Well, Jayhawk and Mourning Dove are kind of... well, he's mostly chaos, but has some order in there, she's the other way around. Its weird... don't know all the details, but the magic types are looking into it. And, uhm, me... no. Not really looking though. I'm still trying to get my own life back in order after the long time away. I'm sure all will work out fine there, just no real rush. You have a girlfriend back home?"
