Crash Landing! (open)
It's raining in San Francisco this pleasant afternoon. And while there are not many people out, there's more than enough to point up and stare as clouds suddenly part. A swirling vortex of green light appears in the sky and just ripples there for a few moments. And then suddenly...

BOOM

There's an explosion from the vortex and something gets sent rocketing into the air from it. The vortex snaps shut with another BOOM as some rather large chunk of flaming metal flies into the city and smashes into the street. About two blocks of pavement and several cars are damaged before the mass of metal stops in the street.

This could be bad...

	There's a delay before the intercom is answered, Tim needing a moment to figure out how to use it without breaking it. "Visitor?" he asks. "Uh...sure, c'mon up then I guess..." he trails off, not sure who on this Earth would even know he was there to visit. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Tim steps out of the room dressed in the jeans and a t-shirt that had been gotten for him. His eyes go wide at the sight of Jon, looking the other teen of steel over quickly. Tim nods and offers a helpless look. "You got no idea, Bro," he sighs. "Alright. See, I was hanging with my team in Hawaii when we got this huge call from the Justice League that the Legion of Doom was wrecking Metropolis so we all suited up and went off to save the day," he begins. "Turns out it was the whole freakin' Legion and Young Vengeance. We all joined in with the other heroes to fight the bad guys and I ended up helping my Dad and Grandpa to fight Luthor cause he had a new crazy cyborg body. And things were going alright but all of a sudden he shoots me with this weird thing that hurt a lot. I blacked out. Next thing I know, I'm in the middle of San Francisco with an Aquagirl that is completely different than the one I know."

Tim lets out a little sigh. "Thank Rao," he mutters. "Luthor was bad enough before him and Brainiac did the creepy. The whackjob actually kidnapped me when I was a little kid. It was just messed up," he shakes his head. "It's 2015 back home...what year is it here?" he asks warily.

"And my dad is Superman...er..." he offers a sheepish smile. "Well, the new Superman. He used to be Superboy. Conner Kent. Err...Kon-El."

Tim is quiet for a few moments, just thinking this over. "Yeah...just gotta hang back and scope things out. Hope for the best...maybe I'll get back home," he says, trying to convince himself of this. "Just two things right now...know any good places to eat around here?" he smiles. "And...since I'm gonna need a new codename while I'm staying here," he takes a deep breath.

"Tell me what do you think of the name 'Power Boy'?"

"That's where I sorta got the idea," Tim admits. He then gives Jon a blank look. "Dude, you don't know all the best places to eat around the hero bases? Man, this universe is weird," he teases a bit. "I guess I'll ask the Titans then..." he trails off. There's another pause. "Umm. Okay, I just remembered this but...there's not gonna be any problems with me wearing the S when I'm in costume, will there?" he asks. "Cause I finally found a costume I like and don't want to chance it and Dad is really protective of the S back home..."

	"Why would there be a problem? You earned it back there, good enough for me til something shows otherwise. And its not mine anyway, I'm just trying to live up to it." he replies easily. Tim shrugs. "Just making sure. I mean back home this guy was wearing it and being a huge jerk and Dad really kicked his ass. Like...the only other time I saw him hit something that hard was when Giganto almost killed Mom," he shivers at that memory. "Yeah," he smiles. "Living up to it," he agrees, having similar feelings about that shield.

"Deep space? Was something wrong up there?" he asks, looking up. He's tempted for a moment to X-ray vision but he lets it pass.

"Yeah, it obviously means something, or is supposed to. Dad is pretty protective of it too... just me and my sister of this generation. And no... nothing wrong in space, specifically. There was a lot going on, but that's typical. More... making the rounds. Meeting the New Gods, visiting Tamaran, getting to know my way about, and spending some time around where Krypton used to be. Educational trip, and some soul searching. Quiet out there."
