Crash Landing! (open)
It's raining in San Francisco this pleasant afternoon. And while there are not many people out, there's more than enough to point up and stare as clouds suddenly part. A swirling vortex of green light appears in the sky and just ripples there for a few moments. And then suddenly...

BOOM

There's an explosion from the vortex and something gets sent rocketing into the air from it. The vortex snaps shut with another BOOM as some rather large chunk of flaming metal flies into the city and smashes into the street. About two blocks of pavement and several cars are damaged before the mass of metal stops in the street.

This could be bad...

Ty lifts a hand, which is ringed with violet energy as he calls upon illusions, while telepathically reviewing what the guy has told Cait so far, a yellow ring appearing on his off hand while he scans the area.

An illusion of Jon Kent in costume appears.

"In this universe, this is Superboy, son of Superman. There is a major dimensional disruption here. Combining that with what you're saying, I'm guessing that Luthor, or someone, shunted you out of your own dimension. I can tell you more, maybe, but I'd need to scan your memories... if that's ok?"

Tim tenses when Ty lifts his hand, hairs on the back of his neck standing up. He jumps at the appearance of holo-Jon and stares.

"I'm Superman's son..." he trails off. "Wait...this universe? Dimensional disruption?" he takes a step towards Ty, panicking a bit. "Luthor rolled out the whole Legion. Even brought those jerks from Young Vengeance..." he pauses. "Who're you?" he asks Ty. "Scan my memories? I umm...if it'll help, alright..." he trails off warily.

With the permission, Ty starts sweeping through Tim's memories, trying to sort out something of use.

"Ok, first of all, Superboy in this universe is the son of the elder Superman and his wife. Luthor here doesn't have most of those people you're thinking of in his employ, including no Young Vengeance... yet, anyway. You're not in your own universe... something Luthor did to you sent you to a different one."

He pauses. "I'm Tyler Darnell... Cait is my girlfriend. I'm just here to help out. I'm afraid I don't know how to send you back, at least not yet." He adds, "Cait... he's one of the good guys. In his world, he really is the current Superboy."

	Tim listens to what Tyler tells him, expression sinking and color draining from his face. When Tyler mentions not being able to send him back, Tim just falls to his knees looking pretty devastated. "So I'm stuck here?" he asks quietly. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Ty extends a hand, lifting the device telekinetically. "I'm taking that thing along for study anyway. It might hold the key to sending you back home. Even if not, its bound to be interesting. 	Cait smiled. "There's a pod of dolphins living in the bay. I keep an eye on them." She looked at Ty. "I'm ready." Though she would rather walk home. Teleporting was right after flying in terms of being uncomfortable for her. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Tim blinks a few times. "Man, that's...are you one of those New Genesis people?" he asks quietly. "That's pretty cool, man," he says. "Alright," he pauses. "Is there somewhere I can grab a shower? Ty shakes his head. "Amazo was my grandfather. In theory, I have all the powers of the Secret Society... the problem is, I can control the powers of a handful of them. The other two-hundred members overloaded the cells... whenever I get stressed, random powersets of various other members show up in uncontrolled fashion. So I never know, as soon as things get messy, if I'm going to suddenly need to ask the bad guys a riddle, start playing with a mafioso hand puppet, or turn into a giant purple tyrannosaurus and try and eat my teammates... or something worse." he explains, in the easy version.
Normally he wouldn't be so forthcoming, but he figures its only fair, since he read the guy's mind.

"There's showers upstairs, give me your size and I'll transmute you some clothes. When things are nice and calm like this, that kind of stuff is easy enough."

	"Wow," Tim says simply. "That...that really kinda sucks, man," he can't think of anything else to say on the subject of Ty's powers. When asked his sizes, Tim makes a face and looks up thoughtfully. 	Ty encloses the pod Tim showed up in in a yellow shield bubble, and sends it up to the science area as they talk. "The Titans live here... Dinah, Iris, Cerdian, Lian... Tim perks up a bit at the mention of Ceridian and Lian. "I really hope they're not too different than the ones I know..." he trails off.

"That sounds kinda like the Young Justice base back home. Getting privacy isn't that easy," he says, chuckling. "Sure," he follows Cait, trying to hide how worried and depressed his is about potentially being stuck in another dimension.

Tim winces slightly and makes a mental note not to think too loudly around Ty. "Thanks..." he trails off. When Tyler teleports off, Tim looks to Cait and winces again.

"Sorry about that," he says, following. "Man...this is nothing like the Titans Tower I knew," he says idly. "Sorry about before, Cait," he says when they reach the elevator. "Just was all hopped up from the fights."
