"What!?" His initial reaction is shock, though there is also some fear and trepidation in his voice. "Yes..yes I would." He watches the video again, lowering his head in regret when he saw the officials killed. "Damn it..I knew those men. The elder was Han Xu. He recommended me for the JLI and has supported the team in the Party. The other man was his deputy, Bai Min. The location is here in America. "No, you're right, no one is pulling anyone's skin off," Dinadan says. "One, because it's not going to happen to Xian; and two, because we are already negotiating a tricky international incident and we do not need a second on top of that." The latter is said in the sort of voice that implies that the first person to get involved in any skinning was going to fed to bullet ants. Dinadan's not going to say that out loud in front of the Woman from T.H.U.N.D.E.R. He nods to Ms. Franklin. "Please, see what you can do on that front. "Only what occurs on our missions. As far as I know, my appointment was twofold: One, for my country to have a presence on this team, and two, to make certain the United States is not using this team as a front for secret operations," Xian explained. "Maybe the lack of anything..juicy, I believe is the term, is causing certain parties to question the effectiveness of my appointment. Of course there are any number of political agendas out there.
