"Yeah, the big fight with the JSA and JLA fighting Mordru. It was broadcast on live television. I knew my father was a superhero..I grew up with the children of other superheros, but that day changed how I looked at them." Josh paused a moment to take a steadying breath. "I saw it when Mordru crippled my dad. I was sitting right there in the living room and saw it happen. My dad, the strongest guy I knew, screaming in the kind of pain you can't describe in words. That day superheros stopped being a thing of awe for me, but fear. That fear drove me to avoid even my closest friends for years so I wouldn't ever be involved in metahuman affairs. I would never see those horrors firsthand. It took me years just to get up the guts to get back in touch with my friends again, Lee. You can imagine what I feel in regards to actually being a superhero."
