The hot dog was small so he was in the middle of finishing it up, so her response only got an eye roll behind mirrored sunglasses. Mirrored sunglasses were the way to go in his opinion. And far better for checking people out in a more subtle way without anyone realizing you weren't exactly paying attention to their conversation.

He shrugs innocently as speaks with a slightly lighter voice than usual, in character, though she'd know he was just using the disguise to his advantage here.
